Comparatively, hardware "spirit boxes" can be costly and technically complex to assemble. They are susceptible to radio interference and phonetic sounds. The SV-1 SpiritVox provides reliable results at a fraction of the cost of hardware devices, making it an indispensable tool for your research group!

For optimal results, adjust your device's volume to 10, place it on a sturdy surface with the speaker facing down, and elevate the device slightly above the surface. External speakers are recommended for devices lacking loud speakers. Tablets with their built-in speakers have shown good performance even without additional speakers.
